Another freaking Scrappy challenge April 1 - Nightmare on Cox Ave
Another freaking scrappy challenge really inspired me with this one.... My greatest recent challenge has been moving interstate. The home we were renting was listed for sale only 6 months after we had moved in and 3 months later we were left with nowhere to go as rental prices are so high.... The move has been very harsh on myself and the kids with tantrums, lack of friends and missing home all round. I really wanted to give this layout my sense of frustration and bitterness at having to leave our home not very long after settling in (again) and the despair of wondering if we will ever feel settled.
I used Kaisercraft, American crafts and Karen Foster designs papers with Portacraft and Lifes little occasions stickers

I understand your frustration! we made the decision to move our family interstate 5 yrs ago and found it a bit of a culture shock! hang in there! Love this LO too!
ReplyDeleteluv Renee I
We moved five hours North for work. Both hubby and I are project managers so we planned the crap out the move. The whole thing went smoothly, but we could not project plan our emotions of missing our old place and friends. I think you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. It did get better after a year! I love your layout and by scrapping it, it brings it all out of your brain so hopefully makes you feel just a smidge better.
