Scrap for help/ Scrap our stash May challenge - Napkin origami

When I saw this months scrap for help challenge had a 'napkins' theme I knew exactly what I was going to do. Unfortunately neutrals and double page layouts are still very much outside my comfort zone, but the only way to improve is to give a try so here is my layout! My kids have spent quite abit of time in restaurants, and they always love nicely folded napkins. A few nice waiters/resses along the way have shown them a few folding techniques so they are quite confident at origami. They have even been asked for their folding techniques and offered a job (jokingly) at a restaurant or two. These are a few photos I had captured of them folding and playing with their napkins, and my daughter folded me one just for this layout! I wanted to add an origami theme to the page but with the colours and number of photos I just couldnt make it work so I left it as it is now.
As I used 3 different paper collections (Kaisercraft check in stack, Kaisercraft class of 87, DCWV neutrals stack and MME Lost and found union square) and a rub on (Kaisercraft on the left page beside the photos) Im also entering this layout into the May Scrap our stash contest - patterned paper party!

  7. Great two-pager! And I can totally relate...we use cloth napkins at home (trying to be eco-friendly), and my son always wants to fold them into interesting shapes. We finally had to make the rule "no origami at the supper table," because he was starting to be more interested in folding than in eating. :)
