Above is my version of this months sketch challenge at Once upon a sketch... The theme is something that changed your life - and you cant really go past your first child for that one! The journalling is on the back of the 'baby' tag, and my photography really stinks tonight but I was trying to upload in time for the last 5 minutes but just missed out lol. It took me all week to finish this layout - it wasnt quite right and I just couldnt seem to fix it so eventually I just glued everything on....

Kreative Koncepts April Sketch Challenge - Drama Queen
Above is my entry for the this month Kreative Koncepts Sketch challenge (below). It took awhile to get started and I ran out of suitable flowers quickly but here is the finished product! I used to do Spanish dance when I was younger, and my mother made me the outfit - which I loved. This is the only photo I have from my dancing days so I figured it would be a good one to get scrapped.

Words or Whatever April Challenge - Cute
I created this layout using the Words or Whatever April sketch challenge (shown below) I used Lucky 7 Factory's fall collection for the background and added some papers from MME and embellishments from Kaisercraft.
Finally I used a WOW title, painted red.
I have been slowly going in reverse through my photos - the more layouts I finish the more older photos I can print to start with lol. These are some cute pictures of my son from when he was 2 and there was barely a second he didnt have his dummy in his mouth. Luckily hes still just as adorable at 7 but with a clearer smile!
Last Nights scrapbooking efforts....
When I saw this months challenge over at My Sweet Earth - I knew exactly what to do! This Ruby Rock It "Carnival Queen" paper range has been sitting on the shelf for awhile now - and it was perfect for this challenge.... I paired the range with some photos of my daughter going to the local Winter Magic Festival when she was younger, dylusions sprays,a Susan K Wessecker stencil with moulding paste and thickers letter stickers to recreate the 'celebrate' mood
This page was created from The Scrapbooking Store April sketch challenge (shown above)
I really love how this one turned out.... I was kind of stuck so I just threw sprays and paper strips across an old MME paper then realised that with the flowers it had a kind of beachy feel to it, so I added a photo of my daughter sunbaking on Michelmas Cay (Great Barrier Reef)
This one was an attempt to get bunch of very different photos from a Haloween Ice Skating disco together onto a double layout.... I might add a title later but didnt quite have anything which worked

Scrap around the world April challenge - Nature vs nurture
This is my entry for the mood board (below) inspired challenge over at Scrap around the world.....
I had the perfect blue butterflies and, although its not obvious from the picture resolution, the dragonflies (wings) were inspired by the crackling paint in the other picture. I added small details reminiscent of the other items on the mood board and kept to a similar colour scheme with toned down hues.
I havent done any scrapbooking for quite a few months now but was particularly inspired by this challenge as well as my endless pile of photos and materials just waiting....
