Childs play/ Paper mixing bowl March challenge - Like Mary Poppins

Note: The colour in my photograph is abit off - the layout is much greener than it appears!

This layout was inspired by melding two challenges - Childs play theme Mary Poppins and The paper mixing bowl - Corned beef and cabbage (Irish). TPMB had an Irish theme and mentioned journalling around the theme 'saint'. So somewhere in my head Saint = Mary Poppins = nanny = au pair.... In 2009 I travelled around Europe with the kids, bringing an au air along for the ride and to help with the kids -she did an awesome job and we had such great times together so this layout is a small tribute to her.

Below is the colour scheme and sketch:

I used all the main ingredients  cabbage pale green, guiness dark brown and corned beef reddish brown
I used the following 'utensils' in my layout: wee photos, Irish lace and The Emerald Isle
I used the Mary Poppins/ Saint theme for my photos and journalling

Papers were My minds eye, Craft concepts and DCWV, flowers by Petaloo
